10 Seattle Dates We're Planning for 2025
We’re always collecting ideas for future dates and these 10 are at the top of our 2025 list.
Some are seasonal, some are quirky, and some are long overdue. Either way, we’re excited to finally try them this year.
1. Dinner Then Book Browsing on Capitol Hill
We’re planning a cozy night in Capitol Hill. First dinner, then browsing the stacks at Elliott Bay Book Company. It’s one of Seattle’s best indie bookstores and a great way to end the evening.
2. Catch a Comedy Show at Jet City Improv
We’ve seen great improv in other cities and are finally checking out Jet City here in Seattle. It’s affordable, casual, and a fun way to spend a night together.
3. Wander and Eat in Edmonds
We’re excited to revisit Edmonds for an afternoon of boutique shopping, murals, waterfront views, lobster rolls from The Market, and dinner at Salt & Iron.
4. Steam, Plunge and Relax at Von Sauna
We’ve done saunas before, but Von Sauna offers something special. A private setup, lakeside setting, and the chance to plunge into Lake Washington after a steam session.
5. Paddle the Kirkland Waterfront
We’re planning to explore a new stretch of Lake Washington by kayak. After paddling, we’ll grab food from DERU and picnic at a waterfront park.
6. Coffee, Hiking and Mediterranean Lunch at Discovery Park
Start with pastries from Petit Pierre, hike through forest trails and along the beach to the lighthouse, then head to Damoori Kitchen for lunch.
7. Tour Seattle’s Steam Powerhouse in Georgetown
The Georgetown Steam Plant has been on our list. We’re looking forward to a tour that mixes quirky history with a fun excuse to hang out in the neighborhood afterward.
8. Finally Visit MoPOP
MoPOP has been on our someday list. This year we’re finally planning to explore exhibits on sci-fi, music, fashion, and all things pop culture.
9. Weekend Getaway to Victoria, BC
We’ve never been and can’t believe it’s just a ferry ride away. Gardens, high tea, and the Empress Hotel sound like the perfect long weekend retreat.
10. Dinner and Cabaret at the Pink Door
This winter, we’re hoping to grab a reservation for dinner and a show at the Pink Door. It’s been a while, and we’re ready for a cozy night with great food and entertainment.
